For larger gatherings, we’ve established partnerships with local venues such as the Platte Valley Community Center and the Canary Barn to ensure all your guests can be part of your special event. The Platte Valley Community Center offers a spacious, modern setting with flexible layouts ideal for weddings, conferences, and community celebrations. Just a short drive away, the Canary Barn charms with its rustic elegance, perfect for outdoor-loving couples or those seeking a more relaxed, countryside feel.

Beautiful Backyard Setting

During the summer months, extend your event onto our picturesque lawn area. The lush green space naturally flows from your indoor gathering into the open air, treating your guests to beautiful river views and convenient access to parking, guest rooms, and the River Room’s amenities.

It’s a perfect setting for outdoor wedding ceremonies that capture that special magic of saying “I do” in nature, and there’s plenty of room for fun reception activities that keep your guests engaged and entertained, as well as a built-in fire pit and seating areas to provide ambiance and warmth throughout the evening. Want to grill a meal for your guests? We have two natural gas grills available for guest use.

Quiet Hours

Please note that quiet hours begin at 10 p.m. We ask that guests respect these hours, especially when using the outdoor spaces. The fire pit is automatically shut off at this time, and we kindly ask that it not be reactivated after 10 p.m. to ensure all guests enjoy a peaceful experience.

Weather Considerations

We understand that Mother Nature sometimes has her own plans. Should inclement weather arise, events will be relocated indoors to the River Room. Please note that for groups exceeding 60 guests, space may become limited if an outdoor event must move inside.
